[RESOLVED] AWSHCPSync doesn't find log folder

Description:

I’m running AWSHCPSync from my home directory with the following call:

qunex AWSHCPSync \
       --sessionsfolder='/gpfs/project/fas/n3/Studies/Connectome/subjects/' \
      --sessions=101107 \
      --modality='MNINonLinear' \
      --awsuri='/hcp-openaccess/HCP_1200'

This produces the following error

Running AWSHCPSync with the following parameters:
--------------------------------------------------------------
   Study Folder: /gpfs/project/fas/n3/Studies/Connectome
   Sessions Folder: /gpfs/project/fas/n3/Studies/Connectome/subjects/
   Sessions: 101107
   Study Log Folder:
   Run Method: 1
   Modality: MNINonLinear
   AWS URI Path: /hcp-openaccess/HCP_1200

/gpfs/project/fas/n3/software/qunex/connector/qunex: line 1169: cd: /gpfs/project/fas/n3/Studies/Connectome/subjects/}/aws.logs: No such file or directory

The log files are produced, but they are saved directly in the study folder (in this case /gpfs/project/fas/n3/Studies/Connectome/). Otherwise the function works ok.

Also, I think it would be good if it would be possible to select the exact files to be downloaded. Currently it is only possible to download/synchronize all files from a specific modality.

Hi Andraz, we will assign a developer to this issue and will let you know once it has been resolved.

Hi @andraz.matkovic, this was an internal function and has actually been deprecated in the public release. Please refer to the HCP instructions for downloading via AWS here: How To Connect to Connectome Data via AWS - Connectome Data Public - HCP Wiki
